Theme of the research

The education as introduction to reality is at the base of the development of a people. With such a conviction the NGO AVSI, that has been operating in Uganda for more than 20 years, has activated an educational plan for the Ugandan youth. The Rwenzori project falls within such a plan, and intends to produce, together with AVSI expertise, some documentation that could be useful for such educational process.
In particular the projects wants to take cues from the beauty of the environment and the mountains of Rwenzori in order to produce:

paper didactic material;

interactive didactic routes;

itinerant exhibitions.

The education activity will be implemented in collaboration with AVSI ngo, which has already activated various educational programs in different Ugandan regions, with a main education office in Kampala.

Such activities are still at the stage of plan drawing and fund raising.

This program will start in 2006. The resources for the full program have been asked to italian foundations.
